Job Title: Commis Chef
Salary: £19K - £21k basic depending on experience.

Commis Chef Responsibilities:
- Ingredient Preparation: Assist in preparing ingredients and dishes in line with the farm's ethos and seasonal availability.
- Quality Control: Participate in quality checks to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
- Food Hygiene and Safety: Follow strict standards of food hygiene, preparation, and presentation.
- Supporting Menu Development: Contribute ideas and support the implementation of the menu developed by the Sous Chef and Head Chef.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other kitchen staff to maintain a smooth operation.
- Waste Management: Support the zero-waste approach in daily kitchen activities.
- Learning and Adaptation: Engage in continuous learning about organic and farm-to-table cuisine and adapt practices accordingly.
- Flexibility: Demonstrate flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

- Hands-On Approach: Willingness to engage with the farm, understanding the produce's journey firsthand.
- Professional Qualifications: Relevant culinary qualifications.
- Solid knowledge of kitchen best practices, food safety, and health regulations.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
