Full job description

The Role

  • Work closely with the Communications and Marketing account managers supporting them in the delivery of creative and targeted digital marketing and communications campaigns
  • Assist in the planning and managing of communications and marketing campaigns and strategies
  • Writing and editing press releases, leaflets, brochures, speeches, newsletters, websites and digital marketing content
  • An understanding of all forms of media, including national, regional and trade press
  • Developing good working relationships with the media and sometimes liaising with the press on potential news stories
  • Monitoring press coverage, creating press files and targeted press lists
  • Assisting in the organisation of events, media calls and photography (this can sometimes mean weekend work)
  • Representing the company at events - maximising and building your own professional network
  • Keyword research and the creation of web and blog content
  • Social media planning and scheduling using Hootsuite
  • Creation of designs using Canva
  • The opportunity to input in wider marketing strategies for clients including competitor research and SEMrush research
  • Carry out research to input into strategy for all existing and new clients
  • Maximise Moore Media’s presence on various channels (eg.web, TV, social media)
  • Email marketing - Design and write company newsletter, or share company updates to their database using
  • Plan and create web content to boost digital growth
  • Content marketing - content creation and distribution
  • Measure ROI with the correct and relevant tools and creating reports to present to the client where necessary
  • Maintain client websites where needed, including copy, imagery, SEO and look and feel
  • Following processes to maintain best practice and keep record of all activity performed for a client

Who we're looking for someone with:

  • An initial understanding of various marketing channels, including digital, traditional, and emerging platforms.
  • Some understanding of digital marketing (SEO, GA4, PPC, Social media (paid and organic), UX, Web CMS (preferably WordPress))
