Construction Quantity Surveyor - All levels

ROLE OVERVIEW

Job Location: Office Based at either our (Head Office) NE11 9JW

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

As Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for the commercial management of projects for external clients.

Reporting into the Commercial Director, this permanent position is well suited to an individual who is looking to work on exciting and complex projects, managing projects from conception to completion.

WHAT WE ASK FOR

Meldrum Construction Ltd is looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor who can bring innovation and experience to the role. You should be organised and methodical, and have the ability to work alongside individuals at different levels and across different disciplines. You will be working on a variety of different projects, such experience in commercial, retail, heritage and/or education construction is vital. You will also be leading multiple projects, so experience as a commercial lead is essential.

You must have at least 4 years QS experience if you are qualified at a degree level in the field of construction, or alternatively 7 years’ experience if you do not hold a relevant qualification

A full, valid driving licence and car is required as regional travel is expected. Occasionally, Meldrum Construction Ltd may work with clients on a national scale, so national travel may be necessary.
