About us
Since we opened in 2010, we have aimed to offer something different to standard rug and carpet cleaning practices. We’ve invested in the best equipment and training to enable us to offer the most thorough and effective rug and carpet cleaning in the UK. We clean anything from standard high street rugs to handmade silk rugs and everything in between, while also offering carpet cleaning, rug repair and dying services alongside.
At The Rug Laundry/Clean Rescue we pride ourselves on our high standards of service and quality of work and we're looking for an individual to support us in maintaining these levels of service for our customers.
The ideal candidate for this role will be self-motivated, with the ability to work on their own and as part of a team and have excellent computer literacy skills. They will be punctual and professional with strong and engaging communication skills, both written and verbal. We are looking for somebody who is passionate about offering the highest level of service to our customers and has a flexible approach to work. Previous customer service/sales and administrative experience would be advantageous.
Main duties:
- Providing excellent customer service via telephone, online and face-to-face.
- Liaising with the Rug Laundry Operations Manager to communicate booking information, coordinate collections/deliveries and ensure processes run smoothly.
- Contacting customers to keep them informed of their rug and carpet cleaning journey, discussing any specific cleaning requirements.
- Arranging rug collections and returns with couriers.
- Informing customers of beneficial add-on services and products.
- Assisting with invoicing and processing customer payments.
- General office management duties/administrative support as the business requires.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.00 per hour
