MediMatch Dental Laboratory is a large, busy lab located in South Acton, London. We produce custom-made NHS and private dental devices and collaborate with dentists across the UK, including Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. MediMatch is a growing company, having successfully opened subsidiaries in France, Italy, Spain, and the Republic of Ireland. While we are very digitally oriented, we still maintain a plaster room.

Job Oppurtunity:

MediMatch is expanding its team and is looking for a driven and skilled Dental Technician to join our Digital department. This position is ideal for someone with theoretical dental knowledge or experience as a dental technician who prefers an office-based role. This opportunity will broaden your knowledge of the day-to-day cases and the steps each case goes through, from initial impressions to the finished product.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Open and check cases upon arrival.
  • Discuss and problem-solve cases with dentists.
  • Communicate with dental surgeries regarding patient appointment dates.
  • Administer prescriptions into our computer system.
  • Manage cases to ensure timely completion.
  • Communicate and follow up with team members to ensure cases are on track.
  • Send orders to milling machines or 3D printers for production.
  • Invoice completed cases.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience or a qualification in dentistry or MSc level is preferred (biology qualifications will also be considered).
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Basic IT and Microsoft skills.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Motivated quick learner.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.

Candidate must be in London or able to relocate to London quickly and easily.

Position Details: Full-time only, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:30 pm.

20 days holiday (+ bank holidays).

Application Process: Successful candidates will be offered an initial interview, followed by a trial day.

Experience: Dental technician: 2 years (preferred).
