Early Years Practitioner Level 2 or 3

We are seeking a Level 2 or 3 qualified early years practitioner with a passion for working with children. Your warmth, patience, and creativity will help us continue to make a difference in young lives!

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will be at the heart of the Pre-School, providing a secure, caring and fun environment, where our children can grow, learn and thrive.

Responsibilities

As an Early Years Practitioner, you’ll be at the heart of our Pre-School providing a secure, caring, and fun environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive. Your role will include:

• Nurturing children's development: Support their physical, emotional, and cognitive growth through play, learning experiences, and creative activities.
• Building strong relationships: Liaise with families, colleagues, and professionals to ensure each child gets the best possible care and support.
• Creating a safe space: Help maintain a welcoming and safe environment that encourages children to explore and learn confidently.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are essential.
• Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• A genuine passion for working with young children and fostering their development.
• Knowledge of current best practices in early years education is an advantage.

Important Info

This role is term-time only.

25 hours per week initially and could increase in the future.

This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check. All candidates must provide two referees and demonstrate eligibility to work in the UK as part of our safer recruitment process.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £12.21-£13.26 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
