We are seeking a skilled and innovative Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in PCB design, electronics development, and wiring design, playing a key role in developing and improving our products. This position requires both technical expertise and a hands-on approach, ensuring designs meet performance, reliability, and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop schematics, PCB layouts, and wiring diagrams for new and existing products.
- Perform root cause analysis on design and manufacturing issues, implementing effective corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain design documentation, including schematics, BOMs, and test procedures.
- Integrate and configure logic controllers (PLCs or microcontrollers) into system designs.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, testing, and mechanical) to ensure seamless product integration.
- Stay up to date with electronics and PCB design trends, components, and industry best practices.
- Support prototyping, testing, and validation of new designs.
Skills & Experience
- Strong background in electronics and PCB design (schematic capture, layout, and component selection).
- Practical experience with wiring design and harnessing.
- Proficient in root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies.
- Hands-on skills in soldering and prototype assembly.
- Familiarity with logic controllers, microcontrollers, and embedded systems integration.
- Knowledge of system-level design principles and standards.
- Experience with LabView (or similar test automation tools) is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
