Duties
- Assemble electronic products using hand tools and power tools
- Conduct diagnostics and repairs on warranty returned units, ensuring all issues are resolved efficiently and accurately
- Utilise programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot and modify control systems as required
- Perform quality checks throughout the assembly process to meet strict company standards
- Maintain detailed records of assembly processes, repairs, and warranty claims
- Assist in the development of assembly procedures and improve existing workflows for efficiency
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on assembly processes and product design
Experience
- Proven experience in electronic assembly or related technical roles, preferably within manufacturing or repair environments
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques
- Electrical experience with a solid understanding of circuitry, wiring, and electronic components
- Mechanical knowledge to handle small parts and perform precise assembly tasks
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable
- Prior exposure to warranty repair processes or electronics troubleshooting is advantageous
