We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive our venue sales and social events offering to the next level.
You will be an expert in selling services and spaces for various types of events through skilled proactive selling.
Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in the company's success.
You will be responsible for generating revenue, driving our business growth, and contributing to ensure we remain the best Venue offering in the industry.
You will source and secure business by designing effective ways of reaching new prospective customers through proactive searches. You will be the first point of contact for all private clients.
You will strive to provide unrivalled service by developing and executing all our customer’s visions from start to finish. You will maintain these strong client relationships with ease while leading and guiding your team of Sales Executives to achieve their targets - mentoring, supporting, and inspiring them to perform at their absolute best.
You will be a team player working alongside the events team, but also be happy to work alone, managing your own time effectively and staying organised, especially during busy periods.
You will introduce new sales initiatives and strategies, with experience in targeting key demographics in and around London, brining with you an extensive list of contacts and suppliers. You should have experience creating weekly sales reports and be comfortable presenting them at all levels.
You will represent the company at industry events and collaborate with other teams and suppliers to develop competitive pricing and event proposals.
You will be a strategic thinker, strong leader, and an outstanding communicator, with a proven track record of converting sales within the private events industry.
Superb negotiation skills in both B2B and B2C account management would be advantageous. Ideally you will have experience in selling multiple venue spaces and have a strong creative mind-set to entice our private clients to hold their events with us.
You will need to be flexible to work evenings and weekends when required.
You will be naturally positive and happy to go “above and beyond” what is expected.
This is a pro-active sales role.
Ministry Venues is a B2B corporate events company offering full end to end event management. Currently operating within our two Central London venues we are opening our third venue in 2024. We host over 600 corporate events and 900 meetings a year across our portfolio of spaces, serviced by our experienced in-house event management team.
