Overview
We are seeking a multitasker and deft negotiator - this role is all about the details and creating a memorable event. This role involves setting up conferences, meetings, markets, and other community events from start to finish. Handling anything from client meetings to cleanup, room/site design to food set up. Also preparing budgets, scouting and booking locations, managing press outreach or handling administrative details that assist more senior managers to get the event up and running without a hitch.

Duties

  • Working alongside the operations team on ensuring event space and facilities are maintained and arranged as per event requirements
  • Provide strategic direction for event provision.
  • Maintain the events calendar and be the point of communication for all event bookings.
  • Own every aspect of an event from initial concept to success metrics including day-of logistics.
  • Day to day administration of events including answering questions and resolving issues.
  • Ensure any personnel are in place across all functions of an event.
  • Ensure budgets and timelines are under control at all times.
  • Comply with all health & safety and site legislation.
  • 9. Point of contact and attendance during bigger events.
  • 10. Carry out any reasonable instruction commensurate with the role.
