Full job description

A bit about us

Founded in 2012 by owner Debbie, Streetwise HR is a forward-thinking, commercially minded, and straight- talking human resources company who provide outsourced HR support to SMEs.

We know that people are the most important part of any business. Our business is no different and we’re proud to have assembled a team of seasoned HR professionals and all-around good eggs.

We are a very small team, and our culture and values are extremely important. We have worked hard over the years to ensure they come from us. We don’t have vinyl values – we live and breathe these in how we interact with each other and our clients – straight talking, innovative, forward-thinking, entrepreneurial, mutual respect.

We are now looking for a dynamic and experienced Executive Assistant to provide administrative support to our team of HR Consultants/Gurus, as well as manage the day-to-day operations of the office. This is a diverse role handling a variety of tasks with a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.

A bit about the role

  • Provide administrative support to the HR Gurus, including managing calendars, travel arrangements, coordinating and scheduling meetings and conference calls, preparing materials, and attending meetings as needed.
  • Screen and respond to incoming new business inquiries, including emails and calls, and direct communication to the appropriate HR Guru.
  • Supporting the team with key HR processes such as; o Recruitment – interview scheduling, candidate correspondence o Employee Relations – meeting scheduling, note taking o HR Compliance – preparing offer letters, contracts of employment, policy implementation, onboarding & induction paperwork o HRIS - maintain HR records and databases using various HRIS, and generate reports as requested by the team.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Assist with HR projects as assigned by the HR Gurus, including organising training and workshop events.
  • Manage and oversee the office's daily operations, including office maintenance (supplies & equipment), event planning, managing relationships with vendors and suppliers, invoicing and chasing debt.

This is a full-time role, however we would be open to part time applications and the successful candidate would need to be able to commit to working a minimum of 4 days per week, or 5 shorter days per week e.g. 09:30 – 14:30.

A bit about you

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience as an EA or in a similar administrative support role
  • Experience of working within an HR function (would be amazing, but not necessary)
  • IT savvy, able to use range of IT packages - HRIS, SharePoint and Intermediate or Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Shows initiative, prioritise workloads and work to deadlines
  • Highly organised and a team player
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task while prioritising tasks
  • Able (and enjoys!) to work independently and manage projects with limited direction

We don’t like to toot our own trumpets too much, but we’ve worked hard to instill a workplace culture that means we genuinely love coming into work, getting results for our clients and having a giggle while we do it.

So, if this sounds like an environment you’d thrive in, please get in touch!
