The Company

North Consulting provide the central support services function to the Equity Solutions group of companies. Equity Solutions are the investor, developer and asset manager for a 1m sq. ft property portfolio.

The central support function provides finance, HR, Legal, IT, communications and marketing and fleet management support across all group companies activities.

Job Summary

This maternity cover role provides a pivotal support function for the Development Director across several areas of responsibility. The role will broadly be providing administrative support for new business development, IT support provider oversight, internal and external communications and helping to prepare new business proposals and internal reports.

The role will be based at our Stockport office is full time normal office hours however will consider a minimum of 30 hours per week

Main Duties and Key Responsibilities

Technical

  • Monitor and manage all relevant inboxes in a timely and professional way
  • Creation and proofreading of relevant documentation such as presentations, letters and communication drafts.
  • Take meeting minutes and circulate to the relevant stakeholders
  • Ordering and PO raising for any invoicing relevant to the role
  • Complete market research for relevant business development
  • Provide any other ad hoc administration as required

Reporting

  • Support the coordination and production of reports or papers for key business meetings.
  • Monitor and report on agreed actions and workstreams keeping key stakeholders up to date
  • Tracking marketing expenditure and other relevant analytics
  • Track and report on IT infrastructure costings and suppliers

IT systems and infrastructure

  • Act as lead IT coordinator between the business and the external IT support partner and other IT suppliers and monitor their performance.
  • Work with the Development director and IT Support partner to ensure the companies cyber security procedures are maintained, and cyber-attacks risks are mitigated wherever possible.

General

  • Provide administrative and PA support to the development director on all areas of responsibility
  • Plan and manage staff and wider community events as needed
  • Manage the Development Directors calendar including internal and external meeting schedules.
  • Maintain high standards of professional conduct and discretion
  • Build strong, professional relationships with others
  • Support any internal or external communications and engagement activities across all platforms.
  • Work as a positive team player, demonstrating mutual respect and integrity for others
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Key Skill/Experience Requirements

Essential

  • Experience in an office environment
  • Experience or working with a Senior Management level
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality and discretion
  • Excellent Communication Skills and writing skills are a necessity for this role
  • Strong IT skills is a necessity (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams)
  • Good eye for detail
  • Proactive and willing to learn
  • Good time management skills with the ability to use own initiative to prioritise tasks.

Desirable

  • Experience in a Property or FM environment desirable
  • Previous experience of coordinating IT support functions within an office environment.
  • Use of social media platforms and professional social channels
  • Use of Canva design
