Experienced Pizza Chef – Etna, Lancaster

Etna is an independent, high-quality Italian restaurant in the heart of Lancaster, known for our authentic food and high standards. We’re currently seeking a reliable, experienced individual to join our team in a long-term position.

This role is not suitable for students or those looking for casual or short-term work. We are specifically seeking someone with the right experience, attitude, and availability to support our standards and reputation.

Minimum Requirements

• Previous experience in pizza service (restaurant, takeaway or similar)
• Aged 25 or over
• Based in Lancaster (must live locally – not suitable for those commuting from out of town)
• Fluent in English and confident in a fast-paced environment
• Professional, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards of service and cleanliness

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored, adhering to food safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and workstations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service and timely meal preparation.
• Assist in training new staff on pizza preparation techniques and kitchen protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing any special requests or concerns.

Pay: £12.21-£15.00 per hour
