Full job description

We have lovely clients in Welwyn, Hatfield, and the surrounding areas who need a compassionate female carer to help with personal care in the morning, help around lunchtime, and support in the evening.

Requirements:

  • Use of a car.
  • Able to start at 7am or 8am.
  • Work every other weekend.
  • Live within or around the area already.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (unfortunately we do NOT offer sponsorship at the moment).

Visiting Angels is a premium home care company. We provide care and support in our clients’ homes. We offer a minimum of 1-hour care calls for our clients, and we are looking for our next Angel.

Angel benefits:

  • £12.50 per hour on weekdays + paid drive time + 40p mileage rate.
  • £13.50 per hour on weekends + paid drive time + 40p mileage rate.
  • £16.50 per hour on bank holidays + paid drive time + 40p mileage rate.
  • Paid training + free DBS.
  • Guaranteed or Zero Hour contracts available.
  • Refer a friend scheme of £100 per friend referred.
  • Career progression available and support for NVQ Levels 2, 3, 4.

Duties will include:

  • Helping clients to get up in the morning or prepare for bed in the evening, including a shower or bath.
  • Assist them with dressing/undressing.
  • Preparing meals and snacks.
  • Helping with laundry or light housework.
  • Supporting our clients to access the community.
  • Prompting & administering medication.
