Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Field Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative for Fresh Island Foods, you will be instrumental in growing our market presence in Midlands within the catering sector. This full-time position (Monday to Friday) offers a fantastic opportunity to showcase your sales skills. The role comes with a company vehicle and a mobile phone to support your success.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships with catering businesses in Nottingham and Derby.
- Present and promote our diverse range of food products to potential customers.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective negotiation and relationship-building.
- Collaborate with the sales team to implement strategic initiatives.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and competitor activities.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
Skills:
- Ability to drive and travel to meet clients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills to manage sales leads effectively
- Proven sales experience, preferably in the food or catering industry
- Proficient in IT tools for reporting and communication
- Familiarity with the catering market is a plus.
- Customer service-oriented mindset to address client needs
