Field Service Engineer
Location: Taunton/Hybrid/Field Based.
Polaris Elements are hospitality software specialists, family-founded and built upon years of experience in the industry. We’ve helped hundreds of businesses develop, grow and succeed with our suite of software solutions and we are constantly innovating to help our clients stay ahead of trends, regulatory developments and consumer demand.
Due to company expansion, an exciting position has become available for a field service engineer to join our team based in South-West England.
Key Responsibilities:
- To install and maintain Polaris Elements products at sites around the UK and abroad according to Company standards of customer service, Service Level Agreements, and Health and Safety requirements.
- You will work under and help assist an implantation manager for ongoing projects.
- Working closely with other departments and stake holders within the business, to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
- Assisting with installations and site surveys as part of projects.
Candidate Duties:
- Help develop & manage the implementation process for new projects.
- Provide guidance and support to team members and leaders throughout the project process.
- Ensure standard and best practices are adhered to.
- Assist on planning and scheduling resources for each project.
- Identify and resolve any issues that may arise during implementation.
- Must be able to effectively communicate and collaborate well with both customers and stakeholders within the company.

- Skilled in basic IT, software, hardware & networking.

Candidate Requirements:
- Full & Clean Driving License.
- Background knowledge in computer hardware (pc's, IP networks and WIFI)
- PC literate (all MS Office suite) and aptitude to pick up new software packages quickly.
- Excellent communication skills

Supplemental Pay Types:
- Implementation Bonus - OTE £35,000

- GCSE or equivalent

Salary: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
