Job purpose
If ABCA sounds like the right place for you, we would love you to join our team within the Service Active department. Working across both commercial social housing contracts to carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on Fire and Security systems.
Duties and responsibilities
To include but not limited to the following:
Maintenance and commissioning of Conventional and Addressable Fire Detection Systems.
Installation and Maintenance of Security System including Intruder, Access Control and CCTV Systems.
Installation and Maintenance of Emergency Lighting Systems.
Fault finding and repairs of both Fire and Security Systems.
Control of all stock and equipment required to complete the necessary works including van stock.
Commission of Fire and Security Systems upon completion.
Prepare daily reports/work sheets and job sheets via the company operating system.
Have a flexible approach to working hours, out of hours working will be required at times as will be working away from home time to time.
Be part of the ‘on call’ out of hours’ rota.
Completion of site asset registers.
Qualifications and Experience
Fire alarm experience maintaining and fault finding on addressable and non-addressable systems is a must.
Experience on Protec systems is desirable.
A good understanding of BS5839 is essential and FIA 1 & 5 qualified is an advantage.
5 years’ experience in the industry is required.
Full UK Driving Licence.

This is a permanent role we are offering based in Essex, East London, Ilford. The rate of pay we are offering is £34,000.00 - £55,000.00 per annum depending on experience, based on a 40 hour working week. We will also provide you with a company van and mobile phone
