About Meldrum Fire Engineering Ltd:

Meldrum Fire Engineering Ltd offer experience and expertise in designing and installing complex Fire Safety Protection and Evacuation Plans.

As part of the Meldrum Group we work as a standalone sub-contractor or as part of a Construction project with the full support of a Health and Safety and QEMS team to ensure delivery of all projects to the very highest installation and health and safety standards.

Role Overview

As a Technical Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring passive firestopping projects meet regulatory and manufacturer standards. You will be part of a team delivering high-quality fire protection solutions. Your expertise in passive fire protection systems and fire door installations, will be instrumental in relation to project execution as you will be undertaking inspections of final installations to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.

What We Ask For:

We are looking for an individual who has 5+ years' experience in in technical compliance, ideally in the construction or fire protection industry. This also includes in-depth knowledge of UK/European fire safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards related to passive fire protection.

Strong technical expertise in passive firestopping systems, materials, and installation methods is also required.

You should have excellent leadership and communication skills, with a desire to progress within the company.

It is essential that you hold a valid and in-date CSCS card.

Travel is required across the North East, and therefore a full driving license is required.
