Fire & Security Engineer – £35,000–£40,000 + Overtime + Pension

Base: Cardiff (Projects Nationwide)
Full-Time | Permanent | Immediate Start Available

We’re a trusted and growing provider of fire and security systems across the UK, delivering high-quality installations and maintenance for commercial and residential clients.

Due to continued growth, we’re looking for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis.

The Role

As a Fire & Security Engineer, you’ll:

Install, service, and maintain CCTV, intruder alarms, access control, and fire alarm systems.
Carry out work to the highest quality, in line with current BS standards and regulations.
Provide technical support and advice to clients.
Complete all paperwork and job reports accurately.
Travel to different sites nationwide (some overnight stays required).

What You’ll Need

✅ Minimum 2 years’ experience installing or maintaining fire and/or security systems.
✅ Solid technical knowledge and strong fault-finding skills.
✅ Good understanding of CCTV, intruder, access control, and fire systems.
✅ Full UK driving licence.
✅ Willingness to travel and occasionally stay away from home.

Nice to Have (Not Essential)

Valid CSCS card
IPAF licence
Manufacturer training or product-specific certificates
