Fire Sprinkler Project Engineer

Working within a Project Team alongside a Project Manager and Design Engineers together with on-site Installation Engineers, the role will have input into projects from initial concept design through approval, construction and As Fitted stages.

The principal duties will include:

• Comprehending design and project requirements from project specifications,
• Oversee and manage the Sprinkler System design process,
• Analysing critical paths from project programmes of works,
• Organising materials and resources,
• Liaising between customers, suppliers and installation engineers,
• Maintaining financial control over a project to ensure it remains on budget.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• 5 years or more experience working within the construction industry (Ideally the Sprinkler sector)
• An excellent level of IT literacy - Word, Excel and Outlook- with an ability to quickly learn in-house systems,
• Experience in the use of AutoCAD LT or similar CAD software,
• Ability to manage own work load by effectively prioritising and multi-tasking,
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written), must be confident and courteous on the telephones and be able to communicate at all levels,
• The ability to remain calm under pressure,
• Customer service oriented with focus on the success of the business,
• People person yet resilient and assertive with proactive and positive attitude,
• Effective problem solving & organisational skills,
• An excellent attention to detail.

Candidates should be smart and presentable with a professional approach and hold a full driving licence.

Pay: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
