Overview:

We are excited to announce the opening of our new cafe at Watermoor Point, which will serve not only as a welcoming space for coffee enthusiasts but also as a bustling hub for our adjoining business center. We are in search of a dynamic Cafe Manager who will be at the forefront of our operations, ensuring both the cafe and business center offer exceptional service to all our guests and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the cafe, including but not limited to, staff scheduling, inventory management, and ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and organization.
  • Customer Interaction: Engage directly with customers, providing a warm and welcoming environment. Actively seek feedback to improve service and address any issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Staff Supervision: Lead, motivate, and manage cafe staff, ensuring they are trained on all aspects of their roles, including customer service, food and beverage preparation, and health and safety protocols.
  • Business Center Liaison: Work closely with the business center team to facilitate a seamless experience for business clients, including catering for meetings and events when necessary.
  • Financial Management: Responsible for the financial health of the cafe, including budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing financial reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the cafe and business center, participating in social media efforts and local community events to increase visibility and attract new customers.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in hospitality management, ideally within a cafe or restaurant setting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong leadership qualities, capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
  • A hands-on approach to all aspects of the cafe operation, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing high-quality service.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the business and its customers.
  • A passion for the cafe culture and a desire to contribute to the success of our new venture at Watermoor Point.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £11.00-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
