Taste of Northumberland is transforming the former Trap Inn in Broomhill into a fresh new hospitality destination focused on quality food, great drinks, warm service and genuine Northumberland hospitality.

We are now looking for a confident, organised and people-focused Front of House Supervisor – Guest Experience to help lead our customer experience from launch.

This is a hands-on hospitality leadership role where you will help oversee front of house operations, support the wider team and help create a welcoming atmosphere customers will want to return to again and again.

This role would suit:

WORKING ALONGSIDE MANAGEMENT

As Front of House Supervisor – Guest Experience, you will work closely with the management team to help ensure the smooth and professional operation of the venue.

You will play an important role in:

◆ Supporting operational targets and service standards
◆ Leading front of house teams during service
◆ Helping maintain a positive and motivated team culture
◆ Supporting customer satisfaction and guest experience
◆ Ensuring standards of cleanliness, presentation and professionalism remain high
◆ Helping establish Taste of Northumberland as a respected local destination

We are looking for someone who understands that great hospitality is built through teamwork, communication and attention to detail.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

FRONT OF HOUSE LEADERSHIP

▪ Supervising day-to-day front of house operations
▪ Leading waiting staff and bar staff during service
▪ Supporting staff organisation and shift coordination
▪ Helping maintain a calm and professional environment
▪ Leading by example during busy services

CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

▪ Delivering excellent customer service
▪ Greeting and interacting with customers professionally
▪ Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues positively
▪ Helping create a welcoming and positive atmosphere
▪ Ensuring high standards across all customer-facing areas

OPERATIONS & STANDARDS

▪ Supporting bookings, service flow and operational organisation
▪ Assisting with stock monitoring and bar operations
▪ Supporting opening and closing procedures
▪ Helping maintain licensing, cleanliness and presentation standards
▪ Supporting the wider management team with day-to-day operations

Leadership experience is welcomed, but personality, attitude and professionalism are just as important to us.

PAY & BENEFITS

◆ £13.50 – £14.50 per hour depending on experience and leadership ability
