Step into the vibrant world of Hot Numbers Coffee, with three lively cafes in Cambridgeshire and join our Gwydir Street Front of House team. If you love creating welcoming experiences and have a passion for fresh food, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the front of house team and perform tasks assigned by Line Managers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a warm welcome to all patrons.
  • Possess a good knowledge of food and drink menus, effectively communicating details to customers, including allergen information.
  • Proficiently operate the till system, taking orders, and processing payments with a friendly approach.
  • Contribute to various aspects of café operations, including customer service, order processing, table clearing, food and drink running, pot washing, opening and closing procedures, and general cleaning tasks.
  • Familiarity with and ability to discuss our specialty coffees with customers.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and hygiene as per daily and weekly schedules.

Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Understanding of food hygiene principles and adherence to Health and Safety policies.
  • Strong time management and multitasking skills.
  • Efficient working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive customer engagement with a friendly demeanor.
  • Detail-oriented and quality-focused.

Availability and Hours:

  • Minimum commitment of 6 months due to our employee onboarding program.
  • Weekend availability required.
  • Evening availability preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 32 per week
