Join our Team as a Warehouse Operative in our Oldham hub!

General Traffic has been a trusted name in vehicle parts and tyres since 1983. We've grown to 43 branches and two major distribution hubs across the North and Midlands, supported by a fleet of 300 delivery vans ensuring fast, reliable service.

We're hiring a Warehouse Operative to join our warehouse team at our distribution hub in Oldham.

What you'll do:

Duties will include checking supplier deliveries, locating stock in the warehouse, picking stock for other branches and for customer dispatch, checking customer returns and completing daily stock takes.

What we need:

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a familiarity with computers and a keen eye for detail. They will work as part of a team handling the large volume of stock that we receive from suppliers and deliver to our customers on a daily basis. They will also be required to work independently using their initiative to maintain high standards of accuracy, cleanliness and efficiency in their department.

Job details:

Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Hours: 45.5 hours a week.

Monday – Friday between the hours of 4:00am - 6:00pm.

Aternate Saturday mornings.
