About us

Centrala CIC is a non-profit organisation set up in 2009, and our mission is to achieve inclusion and wellbeing for Central and Eastern European migrant communities in England. We use arts & culture as our tools to advance social integration, understanding, respect and cohesion between migrant and non-migrant communities.

Job summary

Joining our fast-paced and dynamic organisation, you'll be part of a team dedicated to improving the lives of individuals within our community. As a Fundraising Relationships Manager at Centrala CIC, you'll play a crucial role in driving fundraising initiatives and fostering community engagement with partners and stakeholders to support our mission of social integration and cultural celebration.

The post holder will be expected to be collaborative and team-focused. They will also contribute to the growing reputation of Centrala. We're looking for someone who is articulate, a skilled relationship builder, demonstrates enthusiasm and passion, and operates in a professional, positive, confident, and collaborative manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • To build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
  • To contribute to the organisation development and overall work of Centrala supporting Central and Eastern European migrant communities.
  • Contribute to annual reports, business plans, funder reports and other evaluation and strategic documents as required.
  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies to secure financial support for Centrala CIC's programs and initiatives.
  • Maximise fundraising and revenue opportunities through community engagement, including via social media.
  • Develop Business links to encourage fundraising from the business community.
  • Develop links into the local community for fundraising and events.
  • Research partners and foundations and write targeted applications to support our work and achieve fundraising targets.
  • Use your passion and creativity to identify innovative ways to attract funding.
  • Give a range of talks and presentations to local organisations to increase awareness and support for Centrala.
  • Participate in networking opportunities and keep appropriate records.
  • Attend fundraising events/workshops, and initiatives to engage with potential partners and supporters to raise funds.
  • Maintain accurate records and communication to ensure stewardship and ongoing engagement.
  • Identify new opportunities for fundraising partnerships and sponsorships.
  • Provide regular reports on fundraising activities and financial performance to stakeholders.
  • Represent Centrala CIC at external events and networking opportunities to enhance visibility and support.
  • To work within Centrala’s agreed finance and accounting procedures.
  • Undertake any other duties as may be reasonably required within the scope of the role.

Person Specification


  • A track record of successful fundraising from trust and foundations
  • Knowledge of fundraising principles and practices
  • Computer literacy
  • Art Sector Knowledge or strong interest: Understanding of the art sector, including creation, exhibition, and audience engagement
  • Knowledge of developing and delivering compelling pitches and applications
  • Experience of working in a busy professional environment as fundraiser
  • Experience of building working relationships with a diverse range of people
  • Experience generating income and/or outcomes against set targets
