Maple Leaf Designs Ltd is a playground design, manufacturing and installations company based in Cheshire that has been established for over 30 years. We currently have a full-time vacancy for a 2D & Graphic Designer to work within our busy design team in our Crewe office.

Working within a small team you will be able to demonstrate the following:

Skills and Experience Required:

• Must be proficient and have full understanding of Adobe Photoshop
• Experience in 2D CAD design (AutoCAD or similar) would be beneficial, however is not strictly required.
• Any previous experience of quantifying and costing designs would be beneficial.
• Computer literate (including Microsoft Office).
• Experience in a design role/environment and ability to work to tight deadlines and commercial standards.
• Great attention to detail.
• A willingness to learn new skills.

Bonus Skills:

• 3D modelling experience (3ds Max or similar) including comprehensive knowledge of rendering software (Arnold Render or similar).
• Unreal Engine experience.
• Experience working in a playground or landscape design role.
• An understanding of playground safety standards.

Main Responsibilities:

• Preparing presentations for clients to support proposed designs using Photoshop.
• Producing high quality playground designs using AutoCAD (in-house training provided) to meet the specification, budget and wishes of the client.
• Pricing designs and producing accurate and informative quotations to be sent to the client.
• Carry out site surveys and meetings where required.
• Dealing with customer enquiries, suppliers and liaising with our in-house installation teams.
• General administration duties.

Salary starting from £24,700-£28,600 depending on experience along with 28 days (5.6 weeks) holiday including bank holidays and pension contributions.

Full UK driving licence and own transport is required.

The working hours are 8am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

Must live within a commutable distance to our Crewe office or planning to relocate.
