Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the aesthetic and functional quality of our outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of landscape maintenance and groundskeeping, ensuring that gardens, lawns, and other outdoor areas are kept in pristine condition.

YOU MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVING LICENCE

Duties

Perform regular landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
Dig and prepare soil for planting flowers, shrubs, and trees.
Operate and maintain various power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
Build and maintain garden beds, pathways, and other outdoor structures as required.
Conduct routine inspections of grounds to identify areas needing attention or repair.
Collaborate with team members to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Experience

Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not essential.
Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for the upkeep of equipment used in maintenance tasks.
Familiarity with power tools and hand tools relevant to gardening and landscaping is beneficial.
A passion for working outdoors and maintaining beautiful environments is essential for success in this role.
