Job Title: Head of Business Development – Clinical
Salary: £65,000 -£70,000 with 50% bonus scheme
Location: Remote (Leeds- Head Office) There will be occasional travel nationwide.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

About the role:
The Head of Business Development will design and implement a comprehensive strategy to support Morelife’s goals in the clinical and healthcare sector. This position involves identifying new opportunities, fostering relationships with key stakeholders, and driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships and sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, proven business development experience, and a successful track record of achieving significant revenue growth to enhance profitability in the sector.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic business development plan to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in the healthcare sector.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and potential clients within the healthcare ecosystem.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers and pharmaceutical companies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align business development initiatives with product offerings and market needs.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities in healthcare.
- Lead negotiations and close deals with key clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
- Monitor key performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of business development strategies.
- Represent the company at industry events to promote brand awareness and generate leads while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
About You:
We are seeking a Head of Business Development with deep expertise in the clinical and healthcare landscape, including regulations, trends, and payer models. The ideal candidate will excel in market analysis, sales strategies, regulatory compliance, and financial principles to drive revenue growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships within the clinical or healthcare sector.
- Proven track record of successfully driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including trends, regulations, and challenges. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.In this role, you will leverage key skills such as strategic thinking, relationship management, negotiation, and team leadership. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities are essential as you manage multiple projects and navigate a fast-paced environment. You will also be expected to network effectively within the industry and utilize CRM and data analysis tools to support business development efforts.
