Full job description

Are you an E-Commerce expert that loves improving conversion rates?

Do you know how to build landing pages that convert? Set up products and bundles that captivate customers? Measure and optimise customer site journeys like a pro?

Good, because we could really do with someone like you at Analogue Wonderland!

We’re looking for someone who knows how to take our Shopify store to the next level. Previously this has sat between roles with no real owner, so you’ll be coming in fresh - ideally with a boatload of ideas on what we can improve!

About the gig:

  • Full time, ideally with at least 3 days a week working from our offices in High Wycombe, but you can do 5 days in the office if that’s more your thing!
  • Building and maintaining our website, from the homepage and the landing pages that give people that valuable first impression of Analogue Wonderland, through to managing our new products admin team, website categories, and discount codes.
  • Owning website conversion rate, meaning everything from analysing the traffic that comes in and the journeys they go on, through to conceptualising, testing and then implementing CVR improvements to drive sales.
  • Leading the product roadmap that defines the future of AW! By being the person who best understands how our users interact with our website and app, you’ll be perfectly placed to spot opportunities, identify the best solution, and then make it happen.
  • Working as part of the AW leadership team. You’ll be in one of the most visible positions in a small, growing company, regularly working with the entire team as well as our board of directors. Think leading by example, happy to work with people at every level, and confident sharing results and your future plans.
  • As well as our analogue film business, you’ll also be working to grow our Papershoot business, owning all the above but on a smaller scale for an exciting global brand that we’re excited to be bringing to the UK!

About you:

  • You’ll have at least 3 year’s experience in e-commerce management, with a proven track record of testing and implementing ideas to improve conversion rates.
  • You don’t need to have been a ‘Head of’ before, we’re happy for people to apply that are looking to take the ‘next step up’!
  • You know how to run a Shopify website and are happy to do it yourself, including setting up landing pages that capture marketing details and / or convert into sales, optimising product pages by tinkering with themes, and managing collections and discount codes.
  • You’re data-driven, building custom reports and tracking to keep yourself and the wider business on track. You’re confident working with that data to provide insights to others, and talking about it with people at every level of the business.
  • You’re organised, self-motivated, and able to work to deadlines. We’ll be looking to you to own the website for a busy e-commerce company, which means working with our warehouse and supply teams - so being proactive with stuff like that is a must!
  • You’re nice! (sounds a bit lame we know, but we really like to get along with the people we work with!)
  • Not a deal breaker, but if you’re already passionate about analogue film or mindful photography then that’d be great! Otherwise, be willing to nerd up on all things film.

We’re a small, passionate team united by something we love. If you geek out over a good conversion rate, if you’re passionate about growing a business through providing an amazing on-site experience to customers, and if you want to help us share our love of mindful photography with the world, we’d love to hear from you.

Cheers, Paul - Analogue Wonderland
