We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join 3W Health as a Health Care Assistant. 3W Health is a 3-site Practice based in Buckinghamshire with surgeries in Wing, Whitchurch and Winslow. We are a caring and forward-thinking practice that strives to achieve an excellent standard of patient care. We have 6 GP Partners and approximately 20,000 patients.

The successful applicant will be working on a full or part-time basis and will be expected to work across the three sites.

Main duties and responsibilities include:

• Phlebotomy
• Near patient testing (INR)
• Preforming ECGs
• Administering flu vaccinations and B12 injections
• Ordering of equipment
• Chaperoning patients
• Assisting in female health clinics
• Taking and recording basic observations
• Stocking of rooms
• Careful documentation of patient information

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential

• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• Experience of working in a healthcare assistant role, adult health and social care, learning support or public health / health improvement.
• Experience working within a GP Practice
• Great communication skills
• Customer service skills / patient focussed.
• Ability to work independently and within a part of a team
• Car driver
• Computer skills

Desirable

• Completion of the Care Certificate
• Flexible
• Working knowledge of EMIS Web and Docman 10
• Demonstrates an understanding of clinical governance skill
• Basic first aid knowledge
