HGV Class 1 Driver

Jaxdene Solutions are recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join our team in Amesbury, working with a well-established and reputable client.

Rates of Pay

• £220 – £280 per day (LTD) / £165 - £210 per day (PAYE day/night rate)
• Weekly pay

Job Description

As a HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include:

• Cage deliveries to large Home Bargains stores within the UK
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Adhering to all WTD, tachograph, and road safety regulations

We have 2x positions available:
1. AM starting times between 00:00-07:00, with a 5 on 3 off rolling shift pattern, ongoing all year round
2. PM starting times between 12:00-17:00, with a 5 on 3 off rolling shift pattern, ongoing all year round

Requirements

• Valid UK C+E (Class 1) Licence
• Minimum 1 year HGV driving experience
• Maximum 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
• Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of driver hours and regulations
