HGV Mechanic (Permanent Position)
Location: Near Fraserburgh
Salary: From £20 per hour (negotiable depending on experience)
Hours: 40 hours per week (8:00am – 5:00pm) + overtime when required

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and reputable client based near Fraserburgh, who are looking to add an experienced HGV Mechanic to their team. This is a newly created, permanent position offering long-term stability and the opportunity to work within a professional and supportive environment.

The Role:
As an HGV Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of a fleet of heavy goods vehicles. This role requires a high level of skill and the ability to work independently while maintaining excellent standards of workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGVs
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and accurately
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with safety regulations
• Conduct inspections and identify potential issues before they become major faults
• Maintain accurate records of work carried out

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic or similar role
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Relevant qualifications (preferred but not essential with sufficient experience)
