Job description

Position: Part-time house-keeping assistant

Location: Dursley

Company: Owlpen Manor Estate

Friendly family-run business is looking for part-time house-keeping assistants as an addition to the small but hard-working team, to cover ideally until the end of October. Reporting directly to the senior management team, the headline duties will be as follows:

We have part-time positions available with guaranteed hours throughout the week, with the expectation to work occasional weekends, on a rotational basis.

· Working with a small team to service nine holiday cottages and clean our busy events venue, in between stays by groups of holiday-makers and wedding guests.

· We would love it if you were prepared to be available for further work on other days, subject to discussion with colleagues and management, to cover holiday and assist at busy times.

· All of our team members have a highly professional attitude, with strong communication skills, and are willing to interact with guests should that be required.

· As the position involves working as a part of a team, strong ability to work with other people is a must.

· Experience of cleaning in the hospitality industry is preferred for this position, to maintain the highest standard of cleanliness expected by our guests.

· The successful applicant would be expected to ensure that all equipment and furnishings are maintained to a higher standard, and to report any inconsistency to the management.

· Applicants must also be able to ensure that linen is handled and managed in accordance with our internal guidelines.

· Due to the geography the site, the applicant must be able to drive our cleaning vehicles, and have a full clean driving license.

· This vacancy may suit someone looking for a part-time position (perhaps during school hours), or a self-employed individual with obligations elsewhere who is looking for additional employment.
