HR Adviser | Leatherhead | Full-time | Permanent | Up to £33,000
Hybrid Working – 3 days office based, 2 days remote.
We are recruiting on behalf of our fantastic client who are looking for an experienced HR Adviser to join their dynamic HR team who are based in Leatherhead.
Reporting into the Head of HR, this is a fantastic role for an experienced HR Adviser looking to progress within a forward-thinking organisation who fully supports career development.
Ideally the successful candidate will have worked within a busy HR administration role and will have gained good exposure to the full employee lifecycle.
This role is ideally suited to candidates who are looking to step up into their first Advisory role.
Opportunities to assist with CIPD qualifications are available with this role.
Role Duties:
- Manage the recruitment process including liaising with agencies, arranging interviews and providing feedback
- Complete pre-employment checks including reference checks, Right to Work and CRB.
- Responsible for coordinating visa sponsorships, working closely with Managers and Finance to facilitate this.
- Produce offer letters and other HR related documentation
- Responsible for running and updating the HRIS and recruitment tracking systems
- Completing the onboarding and induction process for new starters and assisting the HR Manager with the leaver process
- Maintain training records and support Heads of Departments in identifying training needs including coordinating training courses
- Make employee life-cycle changes to the system
- Support with payroll administration including variable additions and address discrepancies
- Assist with the Performance Management process and ensure records are kept up to date
- Assist the Head of HR with producing regular reports for board meetings and for data driven decision making
- Support the Head of HR with other HR related projects
Candidate Requirements:
- Strong HR Administration and payroll experience essential, minimum of a year.
- Ideally CIPD qualified but not essential, potential for CIPD training to be part funded.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office and HRIS systems
- Strong analytical skills and solid Excel experience required
- Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills
- Ability to liaise and communicate across all levels
- Able to use initiative and be proactive
