Full job description
Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Internal Sales Assistant to join our family run depot, part of the APC Overnight delivery network. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our Sales Director in generating new business. This position requires a proactive individual, with field/telesales experience and excellent communication skills to bring new customers to our fantastic, award winning network.
Responsibilities
- Will effectively and efficiently secure face to face sales appointments with the Sales Director.
- Be the first point of contact for potential customers.
- Play a key role in representing our company ethos which is flexible, present and answerable.
- Understand customer needs and new business opportunities.
- Manage all data and records to achieve targeted data and appointment conversions.
- Generate high-quality leads through a mixture of cold and warm calling.
- Monday-Friday 10-am-2pm
Experience
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with potential new customers.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with CRM systems
- Telesales and field sales experience - skills to get pat the gatekeeper!
- Resiliant and able to handle rejection
- A positive attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service are essential for success in this role.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.50-£13.00 per hour
