We are seeking an enthusiastic Junior Front End Developer with an understanding in TypeScript and React to join our growing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and contribute to the development of user-centric applications, with the opportunity to grow into a full-stack developer position over time.

Salary Information and benefits

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using TypeScript and React.
- Collaborate with team members and different departments to deliver seamless and visually appealing user interfaces.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews, identify potential issues, and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to improve performance and user experience.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in front-end development and emerging technologies.
- Contribute to the planning, design, and implementation of new features and functionalities.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Front End Developer with a portfolio of web applications.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, React, NextJS.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, SCSS and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of modern front-end build pipelines and tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel, npm, etc.).
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote or hybrid work environment.
- Be able to spend a minimum of 2 days per week working from our office
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
- Knowledge of front-end testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library).
- Exposure to backend technologies and a desire to expand into full stack development.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.

The Application Process
Once applications are in we expect the process to take 2 weeks to complete, with the following process:
- Stage 1 (1 hour) – Initial interview with the Hiring Manager to discuss the role, review your portfolio and provide an opportunity for you to ask questions.
- Stage 2 (2 hours)—The hiring manager and CEO will conduct second Interviews for shortlisted candidates. These will potentially be face-to-face, and you will be asked to come prepared with a short project to enable us to see how you tackle requirements. In the interview, you will be asked to carry out some exercises to help us understand how you work.
