Job Title: Learning and Development Business Partner
Type: Permanent
Location: Cheadle Hulme, SK8 6RQ
Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 per annum + benefits
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Are you a Learning and Development Business Partner with a passion for digital content and a blended learning approach?

We are looking for a proactive and innovative professional to drive the digital transformation of our learning and development initiatives. If you have experience in creating and delivering blended learning solutions and are eager to shape the future of training and development, we want to hear from you.

In this role, you will be key in developing digital content, leveraging new technologies, and working closely with key stakeholders to enhance training effectiveness and support continuous development. You’ll collaborate with the Senior L&D Business Partner to implement digital learning strategies that meet the evolving needs of our business.

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll use your expertise in Learning and Development to:

  • Work alongside the Senior L&D Business Partner to design and execute a forward-thinking L&D strategy that incorporates digital and blended learning solutions tailored to the needs of the organization.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to assess training needs, designing and delivering engaging and effective digital content and learning programs.
  • Maximize existing learning technologies, identifying opportunities to integrate digital, virtual, and blended learning solutions that align with business goals.
  • Lead and support the transition to more digital and technology-enhanced learning experiences, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Stay up to date with emerging digital learning tools, platforms, and methodologies, assessing their potential to improve training delivery and learner engagement.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in Learning and Development, with a focus on creating digital and blended learning solutions.
  • The ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with our services and the ability to help us embed our business partnering model.
  • A strong background in digital content creation, e-learning, and virtual learning environments.
  • Experience in using various Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital content tools.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand the business’s digital learning needs and deliver tailored training solutions.
  • Passion for coaching and developing others, with strong skills in stakeholder engagement and relationship-building.
  • An understanding of the Charity, Care, and Education sectors is desirable.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience managing digital learning initiatives.
  • Knowledge of learning and leadership theory, and the ability to apply this in a practical, digital-first learning context.
  • Experience with LMS features focused on learner experience and engagement.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
