*Overview*

We are currently seeking a livestock assistant to join our team at our organic regenerative family farm specialising in dairy, beef and eggs, all sold direct to customers. The ideal candidate will be able to assist with various jobs including milking, livestock handling and feeding work, as well as collecting and packing eggs.

*Responsibilities*

- Assist with milking

- Livestock handling

- Operate farm machinery for cleaning and feeding tasks

- Material shifting around the yard

- Egg collection and packing

- Occasionally help may be needed to assist our food prep team with bottling milk or similar

- Feeding and tending to other animals living on the farm (cattle, hens, pigs, dogs)

- Opportunity to become involved with our poultry breeding programme

*Requirements*

- Livestock skills and experience - must be calm and gentle around animals

- Ability to perform medium-heavy lifting tasks

- Experience with farm machinery and ability to operate safely

- Proficiency in using hand tools for various tasks

- Passionate about good food and regenerative farming is a plus!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
