POSITION: LOFT STORAGE SOLUTIONS INSTALLERS
FULL-TIME POSITION
AREAS: ACCRINGTON, LANCASHIRE, BB55HU

Due to our continued expansion plans across the UK, we are looking for quality practical people who have experience in joinery, and people who can install our loft storage solutions to a high standard. This includes loft ladders, loft hatches, enlarging and making new openings, installing our raised loft storage floors. Working from our base in Accrington, Lancashire you will be required to work throughout the Northwest and beyond and be able to work by yourself or a team and organise your working day.

UK Loft Boarding Ltd (Established 2010) are the leading expert and largest independent outfit of approved loft storage solutions installers in the North of England. We create storage solutions by professionally converting loft spaces into very useful, accessible loft storage areas. UK Loft Boarding currently have branches in the Northwest, North Wales, Northeast, Midlands, Yorkshire, Cumbria, Scottish Borders areas.

You will be required to install our loft storage solutions in customers’ homes and provide any service requirements daily. You will also be required to provide our customers with written quotes by doing home surveys visits booked by our head office.

We are looking for a very practical business like and versatile person who has good joinery skills. You must be able to build, for example, a timber stud wall, floor, or ceiling, install loft hatches into existing ceilings, some electrical lighting knowledge would be an advantage. Full product & installation training course will be given.

This is a full-time employed position, paid weekly, not self-employed or contracted

We are looking for a quality practical people with joinery experience who can deal with customers on a one-to-one basis and work well with others.

The requirements for this role are.

· Quality joinery work experience

· You must enjoy dealing with the public in a friendly manner

· Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Must have proven practical experience within the joinery/building industry

. Clean and tidy worker

· You must hold a full UK Driving License

· Have excellent customer service skills for dealing with customer issues & concerns

· A good understanding of Health & Safety, including working at height

Training

You will be required to complete our training course to become a LOFT-E® factory authorised installer which takes approximately 6/8 weeks. Will be working alongside an experienced installer.

The On-site training is essential on the installation of our methods of loft storage solutions and products we sell.

A vehicle will be provided to a successful applicant who completes training.
The company van will be provided with fuel and all vehicle expenses paid.
