Managing Director – Growing Pub Group
Location: North West / North Wales (multi-site leadership role)
Salary: £100,000 – £130,000 + bonus + benefits + potential equity
A Business Ready for Its Next Phase
We are an expanding pub company with 12 established sites across town, city centre, and countryside locations. Our estate combines food-led venues and drink-led pubs, and we are now entering a structured growth phase.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a true Managing Director role with full responsibility for shaping performance, driving growth, and building a scalable business.
The Role
As Managing Director, you will lead the business end-to-end, with responsibility for:
- Full P&L ownership
- Operational performance across all sites
- Strategic growth of both managed and leased estate
- Building a high-performing leadership team
- Creating a robust platform for expansion
You will work closely with the CFO to manage financial performance and control, while reporting directly to the Board with full accountability for delivery.
Key Focus Areas
- Driving profitability and cost control across a 12-site estate
- Improving operational consistency and efficiency
- Leading a clear, actionable growth strategy
- Delivering new site openings and acquisitions
- Strengthening commercial performance (food, drink, and product mix)
- Promoting group-wide product initiatives and brand standards
- Building strong internal and external relationships
What We’re Looking For?
- Proven multi-site leadership experience in hospitality / pubs
- Strong commercial and financial acumen (P&L ownership essential)
- Experience across both food-led and wet-led environments
- A track record of improving performance and delivering growth
- Experience in site expansion or acquisitions
- A hands-on leader who can operate strategically and operationally
