Job Title: Marketing Executive

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours p/w

Salary: £23,400.00 - £26,000.00 per annum

Location: Head Office Tredomen Gateway, Ystrad Mynach, CF82 7EH.

Purpose of Job / Company Values

Activities will include: supporting marketing campaigns, contributing to regular social media campaigns, coordination of video interviews and case studies of learners and employers, creating content for the website and social media, optimising SEO, e-communications, event planning, coordinating advertising campaigns, generating positive PR, developing internal and external newsletters and liaising with the inhouse graphic designer to produce marketing literature and collateral.

The Marketing Executive will be responsible for social media post creation, keeping up to date with trends, and ensuring marketing activities are in line with the business plan priorities and objectives. You will also be responsible for contributing to the internal communication plan and ensuring we have consistent brand representation across the Educ8 Training Group.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

  • Working with the wider marketing team to create marketing and communications campaigns and support new qualification launches.
  • To maintain, develop and continually improve Educ8’s social media platforms, creating content and writing social media copy.
  • Copy writing and creating content for a diverse range of marketing materials and digital platforms, ensuring the Educ8 and wider group brand is accurate and up-to-date.
  • To contribute to the maintenance of the company’s CRM system.
  • To develop written and video case studies and blogs and collate testimonials to utilise in promoting work to existing/potential customers.
  • To source advertising and promotional opportunities, developing press releases, designing and placing adverts in the press, in line with the marketing and business development plans.
  • To contribute to the internal communication plan ensuring we have consistent brand representation across the Group.
  • To support events, including pre-planning, on-the-day support, and post-event evaluation.
  • Conduct market research and monitor competitor activity for continuous improvements or changes in marketing strategy, products, or services; evaluating trends, brand awareness and competition ventures.
  • Where needed, support marketing and communications activities and teams across the wider Educ8 Training Group.

Desirable Criteria

  • Knowledge of apprenticeships / work-based learning
  • Experience of CRM, preferably HubSpot
  • Marketing qualification
  • Knowledge of courses and funding methods
  • ECDL equivalent or equivalent experience
