Full job description

About Us:

Situated on a beautiful farm in Nakhon Nayok, a rural province two hours from Bangkok, Jai Dog Rescue stands as a beacon of hope for street dogs. Proudly part-funded by Battersea Dogs and Cats Home and on track to sterilise and vaccinate 70,000 dogs by 2026, we are driven by a dedicated team committed to improving dogs' lives through clinical work and engagement with local communities.

Founded in 2017, Jai Dog Rescue seeks to tackle outdated and ineffective approaches to animal welfare in Thailand. Our mission is to transform the lives of street dogs through humane, scalable solutions. Using our hub-and-spoke model, we combine high-volume sterilisation, vaccination, rescue, and education to create lasting change. We’re not just saving dogs; we’re driving systemic progress.

Founded by the Ministry of Sound Group, we apply a business-minded approach that maximises resources and delivers real results.

About You:

The focus of this role is to develop and implement marketing and fundraising strategies that drive public donations (one-off, regular, major, and corporate), ensure donor stewardship, and support donor retention. Key responsibilities include representing Jai to Ministry of Sound Group partners, managing communications with TM members, event partners, and other stakeholders, maintaining the website and blog, and managing the CRM.

Strategy & Development

  • Develop and implement a marketing communications strategy to support all fundraising channels (one-off, regular, major, corporate, and legacy).
  • Collaborate with agencies to deliver public campaigns and the Regular Giving (RG) initiative.
  • Support the growth of major and legacy donations through targeted outreach and relationship building, with personalized communications for key donors.

Donor Engagement & Fundraising

  • Drive donor acquisition and retention by implementing effective stewardship and communication strategies.
  • Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with major donors through tailored, impactful outreach.
  • Lead the Sponsor A Dog initiative, providing quarterly updates to donors.

Marketing, Communications & Partnerships

  • Serve as a representative of Jai Dog Rescue in partnerships with Ministry of Sound Group entities and external collaborators.
  • Develop communications and updates for The Ministry members in partnership with Daisy.
  • Support TM events and partnerships, representing Jai as a key ambassador.
  • Produce engaging content and manage communications to enhance awareness and generate donations.

Digital Marketing

  • Manage the CRM database to ensure accurate and up-to-date donor information.
  • Oversee website updates and blog management, with proficiency in WordPress and a solid understanding of SEO (desirable).
  • Execute fundraising campaigns across email, social media, and digital channels, collaborating closely with our agencies.
  • Enhance Jai’s presence on TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Google paid search (experience with Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, and paid search is advantageous).
  • Maintain consistent engagement with donors across social media platforms.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in fundraising, marketing, or communications, ideally within the charity sector.
  • Strong strategic thinker with excellent relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM management and digital marketing tools.
  • Experience creating impactful campaigns and engaging content across digital channels.
  • Passionate about animal welfare and dedicated to making a difference.
