Merchandiser
We’re looking for a proactive, self motivated and analytical merchandiser to join our dynamic, fast growing brand, Little Green Radicals. This is an exciting position within a small fast growing company and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the role and develop the Merchandising department.
Main responsibilities
- The role contributes to all aspects of the product life cycle, from SKU and category planning, rolling up spend, through to getting stock delivered into our warehouse to clearing stock out of the business
- Work closely with the production, marketing/ecommerce and wholesale and marketplace teams to plan product ranges that deliver commercial balanced ranges across all outlets
- Driving lessons learned, season analysis and strategy meetings prior to pre-season planning.
- Working with the production team to produce optimal seasonal buys, delivery splits and priorities
- In season trading to ensure that all categories are performing at optimum levels, re-forecasting sales, and constantly monitoring intake, OTB position, & terminal stocks across the department.
- Using our ERP system Brightpearl to manage stock across two warehouses and several virtual warehouses along with checks to ensure our stock is correctly valued and distributed across our warehouses.
- Propose & monitor promotional activity & markdowns
- Produce EOS analysis to be used as a “lessons learnt” for future seasons
- Provide merchandising for ecommerce, wholesale and marketplaces
- Manage demand forecasts across warehouses by aligning with marketing calendars, seasonal demand, and stock delivery schedules.
- Oversee stock allocations for sample sales, aiming to maintain levels that maximise sales opportunities.
- Oversee wholesale price management, including monthly sale and outlet updates to ensure pricing consistency across channels.
- Lead regular stock audits to identify discrepancies and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Manage cost price and landed cost reporting for stock valuation and audit compliance, ensuring data consistency across departments.
What we are looking for
- At least 2 years experience in Merchandising, preferably ecommerce
- Positive ‘can-do’ attitude
- A clear communicator, both oral and written, with excellent relationship management skills
- Highly numerate and analytical, process driven, results-focused, organised with a high attention to detail
- Self motivated, adaptable, proactive and someone who will take ownership of issues
- Personnel management experience
- Excellent at excel and computer savvy
- You will have the ability multi-task and remain calm within a fast-paced ever-changing environment
- You will be a team player
- You will have high attention to detail
