Join Our Client's Team as an Occupational Therapist at NRC!

Location: Cranborne, Dorset
Salary: £32,302.40 - £38,729.60 per annum (depending on experience and competency)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours per week)

Our client are committed to empowering young people aged 11-25 to achieve independence, confidence, and success. Working across both of our Client's School and College on site, our client supports students with complex needs, including ASD, ADHD, and social, emotional, and mental health difficulties. Our clients goal is to provide person-centred academic and vocational programmes that prepare them for a fulfilling adult life.

Your Role as an Occupational Therapist:

As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in supporting students by assessing and delivering tailored interventions that help them develop essential life skills. Your work will be guided by Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), ensuring that each student receives the support they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialist Occupational Therapy services to our clients School & College on site.
  • Provide direct intervention, develop tailored programmes, and offer expert guidance to staff.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, attending student reviews and contributing to collaborative care plans.
  • Support and supervise OT Assistants to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Provide training and advice to staff to ensure Occupational Therapy is integrated into everyday learning.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A recognised degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
  • Passion for supporting children and young adults with complex needs.
  • Experience or interest in sensory integration and motor coordination difficulties.
  • Ability to design and deliver individual treatment programmes.
  • A compassionate, creative, and adaptable approach.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
