At Jigsaw Fitness we design and manufacture innovative fitness equipment from our Lancashire HQ. Our customers include some of the UK’s leading gym equipment brands and health club chains. In the fitness industry, our team are known for our creative products, bold design and design-led approach to problem-solving for clients.

Due to an exciting period of high growth, Jigsaw is looking to recruit an Operations Admin Assistant to support the business in delivering this increased number of projects. This will be a varied role working alongside our logistics and supply chain teams to support the successful delivery of our B2B and B2C projects. This role will play an important part in ensuring the successful delivery of our products and projects for clients. The right candidate will have many opportunities to develop and grow within the business.

The ideal candidate will have great communication skills and will bring a positive approach to a busy workload.

Responsibilities (includes but not limited to):

  • Liaising with customers and couriers to ensure timely delivery of products
  • Providing customer service support and responding to queries about current orders
  • Booking deliveries via various methods to get products from A to B on time
  • Generating purchase orders and delivery notes from our software system
  • Checking incoming goods to ensure suppliers have delivered correctly
  • General admin support for the operations team; this could include updating our project management system, product and pricing databases, or recording minutes at team meetings.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Experience in an administration role
  • Some familiarity with shipping and logistics processes and systems
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes and software
  • Great communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Remains level-headed and can problem-solve quickly and independently when required
  • A diligent and proactive approach to managing deadlines and task due dates

Desirable but not Essential

  • Past experience in a customer-facing service environment
  • Entry-level use of project or task management software; Asana, Trello, MS Project, Monday or similar
  • Some experience using a CRM and ERP system
  • Experience in a manufacturing business
