Cambridge Student Experience, established in 2015, is an International Educational company providing cultural and school focused programmes to students from all over the world. It also provides English language lessons, skills development courses and comprehensive experience of life and study in UK.

We are looking for an Operations Administrator to work within our energetic team, with a wide range of responsibilities.

About the role

The Operations Administrator, will be assisting our Group Leaders and Directors, in the general administration of the business; from daily secretarial jobs to maintaining and updating the Company databases, and most importantly, the person would be responsible for helping build and maintain the relationships with local host families and assist in placing our international students with them, depending on individual requirements and capacity.

Job Responsibilities:

· Manage email accounts

· Liaise with agents, staff and host families

· Manage and be in constant contact with families – availability, requirements and specifics

· Review and update host family data base

· Organise groups – assigning students to families and make the respective bookings, send programmes to families, ensuring all information is correct and up to date, send family list to clients

· Collect feedback from hosts and report to Company Directors

· Manage any rising enquiries, issues or complains that involve the host families

· Be the main point of contact between host family and Company

· Organise a filing system for all clients and hosts

· Maintain company calendar and schedule stays

About you:

We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic individual with the ability to solve problems quickly and build and maintain relationships effectively. You must have excellent communication and customer service skills and be able to work well under pressure. You will be liaising with agents, host families and students, so it is vital that you have an approachable and friendly manner at all times.

You will need to have a flexible approach to work and be available Monday - Friday. Overtime is also available as weekend and evening work is essential during the summer months, for which you will be paid extra.

The role requires to be part of a 24-hour emergency telephone rota, so the ability to take and field calls efficiently is essential, and this will be an extra to your salary.

March to September is the busiest time of the year, and candidates will need to be flexible, organised and most importantly to have a positive approach in this fast-paced environment.

This position will suit applicants who ideally have no prior holiday commitments, but this can be discussed if successful.

Experience and Qualifications required:

· Experience working within a customer service-based role (essential)

· Previous administrative experience (essential)

· Clean driving licence and access to a vehicle would be ideal (desirable)

· Experience working in an educational environment (desirable)

Successful candidates will be expected to provide 2 professional references that are acceptable to CSE and complete a 3-month probationary period.
