Join AIC Group, a market leader in cutting-edge Thermal Treatment and Waste To Energy systems.

Reporting to the Operations Director, the Operations and Production Planner / Scheduler will play an important role within the wider Operations department.

Working closely with Design, Fabrication, Assembly, Service & Purchasing departmental heads, they will be responsible for ensuring the continuous scheduling of works throughout the relevant departments to meet deadlines using our purpose built ERP System.

About The Role

  • Supports company wide Operations by creating, managing and communicating plans using our custom ERP system, ensuring project teams are aware of time commitments and relevant people are updated on milestones and deliverables.
  • Highlight any risks to project schedules as soon as identified and put plans in place to mitigate any/all knock on effects.
  • Using own initiative to spot and problem solve, with the confidence to challenge for resolutions.
  • Ability to work independently under limited supervision, to manage operation plans with proactive plan control via regular planning reviews, tracking schedule adherence and acting on any stoppages or slippages to mitigate any impact.
  • Participate in regular operational meetings.
  • Confidently and effectively provide communication with clarity of any actions required by departments to ensure plans are maintained with live data in the ERP system as a centralised company schedule.
  • Coordinate all orders on a multi departmental basis to ensure accurate projects forecasting.· Ability to use ERP software, task scheduler and Gantt systems.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement based on regular process reviews and effective root cause identification and problem solving.
  • Ability to use time management tools to maintain upkeep of daily/weekly/monthly actions, tasks, reports and KPI’s.
  • Ensure HSEQ documentation completion and adherence from design to installation and commissioning stages which is controlled via the ERP system.
  • Promote a positive Health and Safety culture within the teams.

Essential Criteria:

  • Ambitious, independent, and a team player.
  • Experience and knowledge of operations planning, project planning and or production planning.
  • Basic Mechanical and Electrical knowledge.
  • HND/HNC or bachelor's degree preferred.

Desired But Not Essential Criteria:

  • Experience in Engineering, Manfacturing, Food Processing Sectors.

Location: Milltown Road, BT71 7LZ

Salary: Negotiable + bonus & pension scheme

Full valid driving license required

Schedule: Mon–Thu: 8:00–17:00, Fri: 8:00–15:15

Travel to project sites as needed.
