Do you want to be a part of the Sixth Wave Industrial Revolution? We are a UK-based leader in green processing technologies and are seeking proactive and versatile Operations Assistant to support our business growth through essential logistical and facility maintenance.

Who are we?

At Altilium, we’re at the forefront of the sixth wave industrial revolution. Our vision is for a circular and domestic EV battery supply chain, where the critical minerals powering the energy transition are safely recovered from recycling end-of- life EV batteries and mine tailings, saving natural resources, and reducing mining.

We are developing the green processing technologies and building at-scale recycling infrastructure to decarbonise the automotive supply chain, providing the lowest carbon, most eco-friendly battery materials for a cleaner transport future.

What You’ll Do:

Administrative Support:

  • Perform general administrative duties and support the wider office.
  • Raise Purchase Request Forms (PRFs) and assist with purchasing tools, office equipment, PPE, and other necessary supplies.
  • Answer office phones, take messages, and direct inquiries to the relevant person.
  • Greet visitors and ensure they are well attended to.

Asset and Inventory Management:

  • Manage the asset registry and conduct stock taking.
  • Participate in visitor tours, providing information and assistance as required.

Logistics and Errands:

  • Act as a runner to visit suppliers, collect orders, and deliver materials to different sites using personal transport (mileage reimbursement provided if required).

Facility Maintenance and General Labour:

  • Basic manual handling and performing general office maintenance tasks
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the workspace in preparation for visits and inspections.

What you’ll Bring

  • A valid Driver’s License and your own transport.
  • A proactive positive attitude and willingness to take on a range of tasks.
  • Willingness to go the extra mile to meet tight deadlines.
  • Pride in your work and the company you represent.
  • Strong organisational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Physical capability to lift and move chemical processing equipment, assemble various types of furniture, and perform general maintenance tasks.
  • Great communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with various teams across the business.
