Your working week will be varied but typical roles and responsibilities will include:

  • Monitor the Web Order & Operations Mailboxes
  • Data input and processing Orders
  • Processing Customer & Supplier Returns
  • Project Support
  • Customer Invoicing
  • Provide the Operations Manager and wider team with administrative support.

Skills Required:

  • Basic skills using Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel
  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to manage and prioritise

Qualifications:

  • GCSE Maths and English at 4/C or functional equivalent or ability to work towards

Things to consider:

  • Must be able to commute on a daily basis to employer as well as to Totton College
  • This is an office-based role

Job Types:
Full-time 45 hours/week

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday: 8.30am - 5.30pm

  • We are closed from Christmas Eve and re-open on the first working day in January.

Apprenticeship Information:

  • Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard
  • Level 2 Functional Skills in English and maths (if required)

Much of the training will be undertaken "on the job", supported by regular visits from a qualified assessor. There will also be a requirement for you to attend workshops on a regular basis.

NB. This is an apprenticeship position within Carlin Ltd. All applications are being processed via Totton College.
