Operations Team Member

LINKS Recruitment are looking for Operation Support Team Members to join our Client in St Ives, Cambridge.

Duties:

Accountable for the safe operation of plant and equipment (inclusive of mechanical handling equipment such as FLTs) to manufacture concrete products to required specifications, contributing to site delivery of safety, quality, waste and OEE targets.

Experience:

· Experience of operating in a medium/large manufacturing operation with relevant safety systems, quality standards, housekeeping standards etc.

· Knowledge of OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) would be an advantage.

· Some experience of continuous improvement/lean manufacturing techniques eg DMAIC, would be an advantage

· Experience/licence for FLT would be an advantage.

Experience in the use of HMIs would be an advantage.

Hours of Work:

Week 1 – Mon, Tues 6am -6pm (Days)

Thurs, Fri 6pm - 6am (nights)

Week 2 - Weds, Thurs Fri 6am – 6pm (Days)

Sat 6am – 12pm.

Week 3 - Mon, Tues, Weds 6pm – 6am (Nights)

Pay:

£13.40

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: £13.40 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
